My name is Harry Carter. The most important thing you need to know about me is recorded by Paul in Romans 7: 24-25.
“What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God – through Jesus Christ our Lord!”
These two verses are an explanation of who I am and who all sinners are. We are wretched because we are dead in our sins…this body of death. Once we can acknowledge this by the grace of God, we cry out for help. Who/how can I be rescued from this slavery to sin? The answer is the good news of the gospel. Thanks to God, He has provided a way for me to be reconciled to Him. That way and the only way is through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord!
It is my prayer that the amateur reflections on the great truths contained in these worship hymns will lift your spirits and you may grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. To God be the glory for the great things He has done for us all!
My studies and spiritual journey have led me to author two books and a pamphlet. They are available for download in the Further Readings section of this website. For those who prefer paperbacks, two of the works are available on Amazon.
